"Plein d'espoir" is a 13-minute short documentary that explores the journey of grief as the director seeks answers on how to cope with the loss of her father. In her search, she interviews Pascal, a mortician whose profound knowledge and unique metaphysical perspective offer an alternative, hope-filled view of death. A Butoh dancer embodies the director’s emotions and struggles, creating a visual dialogue between her and the mortician, bridging the gap between loss and spiritual possibility.
